UC Davis has made significant discoveries that provide insight into nutrient deficiencies of non-bearing versus bearing spurs. Based on these findings, the POWER2GRO Pistachio Program was developed to deliver the right nutrients directly to the canopy at the right stages of the tree’s development to minimize spur deficiencies, maximize nut fill, and improve future fruiting probability.
